The Re-Fine screw is a trim screw with a twist. The twist is several opposing threads under the head of the screw. The reversed threads hold thin material in place and soften the wood fibers at the surface to resist splitting. Offered in a #8 and #9 shank size with the head slightly smaller than the reversed threads, even hardwood grain will not split. Perfect for installing base, jambs for framed openings, re-sawn hardwood or any other precision millwork applications.
With an amazingly durable, code approved exterior coating, this case hardened trim screw also comes in white for PVC and prefinished trim installation.
